Amsterdam - the end destination of our trip.
Our memory of this place is going to be flowers, flowers, windmills, orange people, and flowers ..oh.. and bicycles!

I reckon this place has way more canals than Venice. Unfortunately we had a little rain during our visit. Not enough to really spoil things, but it did take a little bit of the shine off the visit. However, it did not seem to deter the locals at all.
While we were there it was "King's" day, which is their National day of celebration. Basically everyone from the whole country comes into Amsterdam for the day, dressed in the brightest orange colours they can find, and then they walk up and down and around and around the city streets, and canals, getting as drunk as they possibly can, and making as much noise as they possibly can.
